Lisa developed a love for the elderly at an early age. She was regularly asked to play the piano for church services at the local nursing home. She has spent years volunteering for the elderly in her community. With over 18 years’ experience in healthcare, Lisa joined the Cameo team after 4 years’ experience as Administrator for an assisted living facility specializing in care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, and has served in management at Assisted Living communities, as well as worked in home health and Independent Living Senior Communities. She has a great passion for working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
A native of Colorado, Lisa has lived in the Houston area for the last 15 years. She completed an Associate’s degree in Women’s PE from Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho. She graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Health Promotion/Sports Business Management and a minor in Gerontology. She completed an internship as fitness and Health Advisor for the BYU Y-Be Fit Comprehensive Wellness Program, as a director’s assistant in the Mesa State Athletic Department, and as an assistant in the BYU Women’s Athletic Department.
Lisa has participated in many organizations supporting care for senior adults, particularly relating to Alzheimer’s disease and is thrilled to use her skills and experience to help lead the Cameo Caregivers team.
