Cristie joined the Cameo Team in 2013 as Director of Business Development. In 2014, she was promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Her experience in the healthcare industry began in 1990, working as a Nurse Assistant in an assisted living facility. This job during college inspired Cristie to change her major to pursue a career in healthcare.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Therapeutic Recreation, she worked as a therapist in psychiatric and geriatric settings, and was later promoted to administrative and marketing roles in hospitals. These experiences led her to earning a Master of Science Degree in Health Services Administration.
After over 6 years in administrative roles in homecare and assisted living, Cristie welcomed the opportunity to serve as CEO for Cameo Caregivers. She has a passion for caring for senior adults, with a special interest in dementia care, due her family’s journey with Alzheimer’s disease in caring for her mother. This experience has given her a unique perspective on meeting the needs of clients and families with care and compassion.
