All of our caregivers are Qualified Home Health Aides, as defined by the Texas Department of Human Services. Cameo's hiring standards purposely exceed the criteria set forth by the licensing authorities. An emphasis is given to character, personality, proven skills, employment history, dependability, and maturity. All caregivers must successfully pass a Comprehensive Evaluation (written and clinical) administered by a Registered Nurse.

Cameo's caregivers are employees of Cameo, not independent contractors. Cameo complies with all State and Federal laws including payment of taxes and provision of work related accident insurance on employees. This protects our clients.

Of course, all caregivers are thoroughly screened to verify the absence of criminal background. All caregivers must pass a pre employment drug screening.
