Debbie has been Director of Nursing and Administrator of Cameo Care Givers since 2008. She has the responsibility for the quality of care for each resident as well as overseeing the day to day operations of the company. She is uniquely qualified for her position. She has worked in the healthcare industry since 1988. She started as a hospital switchboard operator and admitting clerk. After 5 years she became office manager. During this time, she learned the needs of seniors first hand by caring for her husband’s parents for seven years in their own home. After earning a R.N., she served as a cardiac nurse and a medical surgical nurse. When she had to find a safe environment for a wondering parent with Alzheimer’s Disease, she changed her career path and became a Director of Nursing in a Senior Living facility for Dementia patients. She had the pleasure of caring for her Father in Law in this facility until his passing. She subsequently joined Cameo. Debbie has learned to care for Seniors at home through her own experiences with her closest relatives as well as through formal study. This led Debbie to Cameo, a company with a 27 year history of the highest standards of care.
